CE CERTIFICATION: We were ecstatic to receive confirmation of our CE Certification for CYBERTONGUE®.

Technically speaking, this means CYBERTONGUE® has passed all safety, electromagnetic, reduction of hazardous materials (RoHS) and other compliance requirements. What this means for our customers is we are now able to export our revolutionary technology to support businesses on the largest dairy continent in the world. 11 of the Global Dairy Top 20 companies are based in Europe.

EUROPEAN TOUR: The CYBERTOUNGE® tour of Europe started early this month at FoodTech in Herning, Denmark. Our Founder, Dr Stephen Trowell, and our Chief Scientific Officer, Dr Felix Weihs, attended this year’s trade show which offered the opportunity to talk with Quality Managers from the dairy and other food sectors about our innovative solution to measuring protease in raw materials and ingredients.

The tour continues, as in addition to attending FoodTech in Denmark, we have been making stops across Europe to meet with local dairy producers and distributors. HOW CYBERTONGUE® CAN SUPPORT GLOBAL GOALS FOR SUSTAINABILITY: The UN’s International Day of Awareness of Food Loss and Waste is held annually on the 29th of September. This year, we took the opportunity to think about how our revolutionary technology can support international goals for sustainability.

According to the UN, around 13.2% of food produced globally is lost between harvest and retail.

One fifth of all food loss and waste occurs in the food processing and manufacturing sector, leading the European Commission to propose that EU member states reduce this type of food waste by 10%, by 2030.

When food is wasted, all the resources that were used to produce the food also go to waste, undermining the sustainability of our food systems.

By detecting quality issues at the earliest opportunity, CYBERTONGUE®’s innovative technology supports the dairy sector to increase shelf-life and reduce losses and waste. Farmers and processors can deliver the same amount of food with a significantly lower carbon and environmental footprint and at lower cost.

UPCOMING: We all know the last few months of the year move quickly as the silly season starts to kick in, but we have a few exciting developments in the works we hope to be able to announce before the end of the year.
