PPB Technology Pty Ltd is delighted to share that, yesterday, its CYBERTONGUE® Food Testing System was the winner of the Platform Technology category at the ACT iAwards Ceremony. PPB Tech won this award in the face of stiff competition from several much larger organisations also competing in the finals.
PPB Tech’s entry noted that “The CYBERTONGUE® is a revolutionary food testing system. It uses shelf stable molecular biosensors, in concert with a user-friendly device, to measure the quality and safety of food. Food processors use it to analyse samples on site in minutes, instead of sending them to an external laboratory and waiting days for a result. It allows processors to improve food quality and safety, reduce waste and increase product shelf-life”.
PPB Tech believes that this award recognises that CYBERTONGUE® is a unique technology lever that can help the food industry move significant elements of its testing program on-site.
PPB Technology now advances to the National Finals of the AIIA‘s iAwards Competition (in its thirtieth year). These will be held at Sky City in Adelaide, 31st August.
