It’s been a huge start to the year, just shy of two months in and big things are happening for PPB Technology.
Not only have our team been on-site visiting existing and future customers across Europe and Türkiye, but we also officially launched with our Indian distributor, IndiFOSS, at this year’s DIC; India’s Largest Dairy Industry Conference and Exhibition.
In addition to that, keep an eye out locally, with PPB Technology and the CYBERTONGUE® due to be featured on an upcoming episode of ABC’s Landline.
We are honoured to have been invited to take part in this segment, and are very grateful to have had the support of the team at Riverina Fresh who have been a valuable industry collaborator and opened their facility to the ABC team to demonstrate the CYBERTONGUE® on-site for this feature.
CYBERTONGUE IN EUROPE:
CEO, Dr Stephen Trowell, and COO, Dr Rym Kachouri, spent the first month of 2026 visiting clients across the European continent. During that time they met many partners, distributors as well as new and existing customers. It was a successful trip, with lots of interest in CYBERTONGUE® Technology and customers giving us some new use cases for the technology.
Even though they all belong to the same industry, our customer needs are diverse. However, despite their differences, all have been pleasantly surprised about how CYBERTONGUE® Technology can support them improve their quality; from providing precise AprX counts allowing improved shelf-life prediction and accuracy, implementation of testing systems to extend UHT shelf-life, and through to detecting biofilms throughout the supply chain.
It was a jam-packed month, with little time for rest upon return as the next week the whole team was straight back into working on scale-up production of our devices to improve customer accessibility, and the following week Stephen found himself back in the international lounge on his way to India…
OFFICIAL LAUNCH OF CYBERTONGUE IN INDIA & DR STEPHEN TROWELL PRESENTS AT DIC 2026:
Last year Dr Stephen Trowell attended the 2025 Indian Dairy Industry Conference (DIC) alongside our Indian distributor IndFOSS, together introducing CYBERTONGUE to the largest dairy producing country in the world (India accounts for almost a quarter of global milk production).
This year Stephen gave an expert talk in the session on “Enhancing Milk Quality, Safety, and Standards in the Indian Dairy Value Chain” where he presented the latest scientific research on biofilms in the supply chain and AprX protease. This session was chaired by Dr. Rajan Sharma, Joint Director of ICAR- Indian Council of Agricultural Research‘s National Dairy Research Instititute
Stephen attended as the guest of IndiFOSS, distributors of CYBERTONGUE® in India. IndiFOSS has an unparalleled record in curating and supporting leading global diagnostic technologies for the Indian dairy market and PPB Tech is proud to be associated with them.

While travelling may be slowing down for the next few months and things may seem quieter, we are all busier than ever.
Our team continues to work tirelessly to provide the best possible customer service and improve our product quality and capabilities. Not only do we have new products in production for use on our CYBERTONGUE® devices, but we are continuously improving the user experience in our software, and developing new complementary tools to support consistency anywhere in the world; like our new and improved calibration tools.
